It's our responsibility to understand the gender aspect of conflict.

Most agencies and groups involved in PSOs are formally committed to working with a gender perspective. This means that our responses and actions in conflict situations must be developed and carried out with gender in mind.
Module 4 : GENDER IN THE CONTEXT OF PEACE SUPPORT OPERATIONS

Goals
  • Participants will have a common understanding of complex emergencies including important gender dimensions;
  • Participants will gain an overview of the various players involved and a chance to explain how they see their role and the role of their organisation in PSOs;
  • Participants will have an understanding of the various institutional commitments of working with a gender perspective.
